Our Story
We are Damian and Divya or Dams and Divs as most call us. Dams born in a boiling pot of culture in Paris to an Italian mom-Uruguayan father and being with the best Indian girlfriend, Divya born in another boiling pot of culture, Dubai ! We’ve always carried a blend of cultures in my blood. After spending years in Dubai, we realized something was missing from the world of travel.
We left our full-time job to chase something greater: truth, connection and purpose. From months of van camping across New Zealand to climbing the sacred cliffs of Abuna Yemata Guh in Ethiopia, to slurping ramen at tiny counters in Tokyo, it became clear: travel needed a reset.
That’s how OFFBEAT Adventures was born.
We don’t just visit places. We build relationships. We break bread with locals, learn their stories, listen to their history: the beautiful and the painful. Our journeys are about creating meaningful moments, understanding struggles, and seeing a country for more than just its landscapes. Because real adventure isn’t just about where you go — it’s about how deeply you connect once you’re there.
